Can you name a deacon at your church? Do any of your deacons get “called out” in the community because of their bold, powerful, and Holy Spirit-led ministry demonstrated with signs and wonders?

A disciple named Stephen had been known for such things, even though he was “only” a deacon. Before he uttered one word in defense of his faith, or spoke any wise words about Jesus in an attempt to persuade people into believing on him, he was known for his faith, grace, power and miraculous signs and wonders. By today’s standards such activity rarely even describes a lead pastor.
